Your branding journey begins with a competitor analysis, where I’ll explore what others in your industry are doing to help identify opportunities and position your brand effectively. At the same time, you’ll be asked to complete an online branding profile—an exercise designed to uncover key insights about your business, clarify your brand identity, and define your overall vision.

Once the process is complete, I’ll share a report that outlines who your customers are, what they need, and how your business can speak to them in a clear and meaningful way. This report will also include a competitor analysis, highlighting what similar businesses are doing and identifying opportunities for your brand to stand out in the market.

I will develop a comprehensive mood board that captures the visual direction of your brand. This carefully curated collection of images, colours, typography, and design elements will serve as the foundation for your new visual identity. It will guide the overall look and feel of your brand, ensuring consistency and alignment with your business values and goals.

This is where the creative development begins. I will present you with 3 to 5 initial logo concepts for review. Once you’ve selected your preferred direction, we’ll move forward with refining the design digitally and creating additional variations—such as a black-and-white version, a favicon, and horizontal or vertical formats—to ensure versatility across all platforms.

With your final logo, creative direction, and visual style established, it’s time to bring everything together into a cohesive brand. I will create a comprehensive brand style guide that outlines your visual identity and ensures consistency across all platforms. You’ll also receive a complete package that includes all logo variations and additional brand assets, such as imagery, icons, and patterns, ready for use across print and digital media.

We begin by analyzing your competitors’ websites to understand how others in your industry are engaging their audiences online. At the same time, you’ll complete an online business profile—a guided exercise designed to reveal key insights about your brand and clarify your business goals.

Next, I’ll create a sitemap—a simple outline of all the pages on your website—so you can see how everything will be organized. Then, I’ll digitally create thumbnail wireframes to show the layout of each page. Once you’ve had a chance to review and approve the research package, the sitemap and wireframes, we’ll move on to the next phase of bringing your site to life.

Now, the fun part begins. I’ll kick things off by designing a moodboard that captures your website's overall look and feel, from colours and fonts to imagery and style. Once we lock in the vibe, I’ll design a homepage mockup to give you the first glimpse of how your site will look visually.

With the structure and visual direction established, we’re ready to bring your website to life. I’ll begin developing each page in Squarespace, incorporating your content—such as images, videos, and banners—while ensuring a seamless user experience across all devices. This phase transforms our planning into a fully functional, visually engaging website that reflects your brand and meets your goals.

Once the website development is complete, it will undergo thorough testing across multiple devices, browsers, and screen sizes to ensure optimal performance, usability, and responsiveness. I will also gather feedback from multiple users to identify any issues or opportunities for refinement. After final approvals, the domain will be connected, and the website will be officially launched—fully functional and ready for your audience.

To ensure a smooth transition, you’ll have up to one month after launch to request minor tweaks or updates. Plus, I offer a complimentary one-hour training session to walk you through managing and updating your website with confidence.
